KCI - Kids’ founders, Joel and Lorraine Fast ministered to youth in detention centers from 1995 till 2010. They served as volunteer chaplains along with giving the kids an awesome outlet through Creative Art Classes. Some of the art was put on public display in 2010 in the “Art From The Heart Exhibit”.

They also mentor several young adults including some of the kids they met in youth detention, continuing to be an inspirational influence in their lives.

However, their main thrust is in providing The Friendly Enemy Educational Workbooks that Lorraine authored, along with Workshops developed by Board Member, Jessie M. Richards MSW.
